Elizabeth M. Curtis received her M.A. in Women’s Studies in May 2007 from the George Washington University, where she wrote her thesis on blogging and the creation of feminist networks online. She also holds a B.A. in English (Writing) from Barnard College, Columbia University. Currently, Elizabeth serves as a program coordinator at the Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership and brings expertise in women’s leadership development and non-profit organizational management from her previous work with institutions focused on women’s issues, including Barnard College’s Young Women’s Leadership Institute and the National Women’s Studies Association. Elizabeth blogs regularly on A Blog Without A Bicycle: Riding the Cyberwave of Feminism and her writing has been featured on other weblogs as well as in publications such as NWSAction and Feminist Collections.
